About this fabric

The colour reads as a cool, wine-toned red, with near-black burgundy shadows between the tiny woven intersections. Its restrained 1 cm vertical and horizontal repeat creates a compact grid rather than a prominent motif, so the texture remains the focus. At 450 gsm and 141 cm usable width, this is a substantial velvet suited to upholstery. The dense construction of 46 threads per cm gives the surface a finely packed appearance, while the darker red texture prevents the colour from appearing flat.

How to use it

Use Ore Rhodonite to bring deep garnet richness to a statement armchair, banquette or ottoman. Balance its cool burgundy depth with aged brass, smoked timber, charcoal or muted blush accents.

Use this deep garnet-red velvet on an occasional chair, sofa or ottoman, pairing it with dark timber and warm metallic accents.
