About this fabric

Woven in 53% cotton and 47% viscose, this fabric has a smooth, cloth-like handle that suits curtains and accessories rather than upholstery, as confirmed by its Not Suitable upholstery grade. The 144 cm usable width gives good coverage for statement drapery, while the 37 cm horizontal and 63 cm vertical pattern repeats create a large, sweeping motif across the cloth. In this colourway the garnet red is intense and slightly velvet-like in appearance, with the lighter background areas keeping the design from feeling too heavy. It is treatable for FR drapery and has a colour fastness of 6, making it a practical choice for decorative window dressing.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a rich, layered look: it works especially well as full-length curtains, pelmets or cushion accessories against painted neutrals. The deep red ground brings warmth and drama to cream, stone or dark wood interiors.
