Luxoria Cabaret Opal Wavy

SS24 Images - Jardine, Luxoria & Orissa Fabric

Luxoria Cabaret Opal Wavy pairs a softly luminous taupe ground with layered botanical motifs in cream, brown and muted gold. The design reads ornate and balanced, with the lighter opal notes keeping the pattern from feeling too heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 53% cotton and 47% viscose, this fabric has the smooth, dressy handle you would expect from a decorative drapery cloth rather than an upholstery textile, and it is listed as not suitable for upholstery. The repeat is generous at 37 cm horizontally and 63 cm vertically, which suits the tall, symmetrical motif seen here. In this colourway, the taupe background sits quietly behind the pattern while cream, mocha and warm gold accents pick out the leaf and fan shapes, giving the cloth a calm, slightly muted sheen. It is treatable for FR drapery, making it a practical choice for statement curtains or accessories where you want the design to show clearly across the width of 144 cm.

How to use it

Use it for full-length curtains in a neutral scheme, where the opal-taupe ground will soften daylight and the darker outlines add definition. It also works well for cushions or accent blinds in rooms with stone, oak or warm grey finishes.

A refined neutral palette that works beautifully when you want pattern without overpowering the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Luxoria Cabaret Opal Wavy without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
