About this fabric

Woven in a 59% polyester, 24% cotton, 13% viscose and 3% linen blend, this fabric has a confident mid-weight handle that suits accessories, drapery and upholstery. The design reads as bold vertical stripes, with a central lava-red field framed by smaller geometric borders in navy, teal, olive and cream. The surface has a lightly textured woven finish that softens the intensity of the red and gives the cooler accent colours a brighter edge. With a 142cm usable width and a 20,000 martindale rating, it is specified for general domestic upholstery and is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

The warm red ground works well in rooms that need energy, especially when paired with walnut, painted navy or chalky neutrals. Use it for armchairs, Roman blinds or accent cushions where the blue and olive details can stand out clearly.

Use it to add a bold, graphic accent with enough body for cushions, blinds or statement seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
