About this fabric

Woven in a 59% polyester, 24% cotton, 13% viscose and 3% linen blend, this fabric has the balanced handle of a versatile upholstery cloth rather than a purely decorative textile. The 142cm usable width and 20,000 Martindale rating make it suitable for General Domestic upholstery, while the treatable FR specification also supports drapery and upholstery use. In this colourway, the charcoal ground reads almost espresso-brown in the light, which deepens the contrast with the slim repeating stripe motif. The pattern repeat measures 35cm horizontally and 23cm vertically, giving the design a steady, linear rhythm across a room.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, banquette or cushion where the dark ground can frame the coral and teal stripes without overpowering them. It would also work well for curtains in a scheme with walnut timber, aged brass and muted green accents.

The dark ground keeps the pattern grounded, while the teal and coral accents add a tailored lift.
