About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 59% polyester, 24% cotton, 13% viscose and 3% linen, this fabric has the dry, tactile look of a practical decorative cloth rather than a smooth plain. The 142cm usable width and 20,000 Martindale make it suitable for general domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories, and it is also treatable for FR use in both curtains and seating. Visually, the lava shade is a saturated red-orange with a slightly earthy cast, softened by the woven ground and lifted by narrow teal and pale detailing in the stripe repeat. The 35cm horizontal and 23cm vertical pattern repeat create a vertical rhythm that feels tailored and architectural on this colourway.

How to use it

Use this red-toned stripe to bring warmth to a mid-century chair, a pelmet, or full-length curtains where the vertical pattern can add height. It works especially well with oak, dark timber and muted green accents, which let the lava ground stay rich rather than overpowering.
