About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a usable width of 140cm and a 17cm horizontal by 32cm vertical pattern repeat, making the design easy to plan across larger pieces. The colourway is dominated by ruby red, lifted with vivid cobalt blue motifs, turquoise edging and warm orange accents, so it reads bold rather than dark. With a Martindale result of 20,000 and a General Domestic upholstery grade, it can be used for upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, and the Better Cotton content adds a considered sourcing point.

How to use it

This ruby colourway works well as a statement chair fabric, especially against walnut, brass or painted neutrals. For curtains or cushions, pair it with plain saffron, ink blue or soft ivory to keep the pattern centre stage.

Use with warm wood and plain velvets to let the lively ruby pattern stand out.
