About this fabric

Woven in 63% cotton, 26% viscose and 11% linen, Santana Batik has the feel of a substantial decorative fabric with enough body for upholstery as well as drapery. The 134cm usable width and 30,000 Martindale rating support practical use on cushions, occasional seating and statement curtains, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. This colourway is dominated by a bright cobalt ground, with aqua and pale mint patterning that keeps the design cool and crisp rather than heavy. The 45cm horizontal and vertical repeat underlines the bold, rhythmic geometry, while the slubby linen blend gives the surface a relaxed, tactile character.

How to use it

Use it on accent chairs, cushions or roman blinds where the cobalt can become the room’s focal point. It works especially well against white walls, pale oak and other calm neutrals that let the blue and aqua pattern stand out.
