Jardine Florrie Batik Wavy

SS24 Images - Jardine, Luxoria & Orissa Fabric

This soft denim-blue colourway of Jardine Florrie Batik Wavy has a crisp, woven look with a delicate batik-style zigzag motif. The repeated diamond lines read clean and graphic, while the pale ground keeps the design airy.

About this fabric

Woven in 77% viscose and 23% linen, this fabric has a relaxed but refined handle that suits both drapery and general domestic upholstery. The 69 cm horizontal and 60 cm vertical pattern repeat gives the batik-inspired chevron and diamond motif a broad, rhythmic scale across the cloth. In this colourway, the blue sits in a muted denim range rather than a bright navy, so the pattern feels fresh, cool and quietly tailored. The 140 cm usable width and 20,000 Martindale make it a practical choice for everyday interiors, and it is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery.

How to use it

Use it on a feature armchair or roman blind where the medium-scale geometry can be appreciated without overwhelming the room. It works especially well with natural timber, warm neutrals and other low-key blue textiles.

Pairs neatly with pale oak, chalk white, and brushed brass for a tailored coastal scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
