About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and measuring 137cm wide, this Portland colourway is presented as a versatile fabric for Accessories, Drapery and Upholstery. The 35cm horizontal pattern repeat creates a clean stripe rhythm, while the flat weave gives the red a lightly brushed, matte look. Its 30,000 Martindale rating and Heavy Domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for everyday seating as well as curtains and soft furnishings, and it is treatable for FR Drapery and Upholstery. The rouge tone is vivid and slightly warm, with the pale stripes sharpening the colour and keeping the design feeling neat and tailored.

How to use it

Use this rouge stripe where you want colour with structure: it works especially well on classic upholstered pieces, tailored cushions or floor-length drapes. The bright red reads strongest against chalky whites, warm woods or deep navy accents.
