About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland fabric has a usable width of 137cm and a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the wide stripe rhythm easy to plan across larger schemes. The cloth is rated Heavy Domestic with a Martindale score of 30,000, so it has the substance to work for upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. In this colourway the stripe reads quiet and luminous rather than stark, with creamy pale bands set against mellow beige columns and fine tonal edges that soften the contrast. The overall effect is polished but understated, with enough body to hold shape while still feeling natural and relaxed.

How to use it

Use it on dining chairs, headboards or boxed cushions where the warm beige striping can add structure without heavy contrast. It also hangs elegantly at full length, especially in rooms with oak, linen and muted stone finishes.

A refined neutral stripe that suits tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.
