Woodstar Pastel

Exotica FabricCCF0408-01

Woodstar Pastel has a softly textured warm stone-beige ground, scattered with hovering hummingbirds in muted blue, rust, pink and cream. The open spacing keeps the illustrated birds light across the cloth rather than forming a dense all-over pattern.

About this fabric

The woven surface appears subtly grained, giving the pale beige background gentle depth while allowing each bird to remain clearly defined. Hummingbirds alternate between dusky blue and warm rust tones, with pink, cream and darker navy details visible in their wings and bodies. The pattern measures 48 cm vertically by 65 cm horizontally, creating a relaxed rhythm across the 137 cm usable width. At 250 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use the warm stone-beige ground as a calm base for a relaxed scheme, then pick up the muted navy, rust or dusty pink from the hummingbirds in cushions, piping or painted furniture. Its open repeat works particularly well on curtains, occasional chairs and smaller upholstered pieces.

The warm stone-beige ground and scattered blue, rust and pink hummingbirds bring a quietly colourful character to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
