About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke textile weighs 390 gsm and has a usable width of 138 cm, giving the large-scale design a substantial presence for upholstery. The pattern repeats every 68.5 cm vertically and 138 cm horizontally, with oversized leaves and flowers flowing across the cloth rather than sitting as isolated motifs. The cool, almost ink-blue ground makes the olive foliage appear muted and earthy, while the red bloom and pale pink flowers provide warmer points of contrast. A fine horizontal surface texture is visible beneath the detailed botanical imagery, adding quiet dimension to the saturated colourway.

How to use it

Use Midnight/Spice on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional sofa where its dark blue depth can anchor a room. Balance the olive leaves with aged timber, warm neutrals and small accents of coral or faded pink drawn from the flowers.
