About this fabric

The ground shifts between charcoal grey and muted aubergine, with darker cloudy areas beneath sprawling palm-like leaves and branching forms. Fine, raised-looking grey woven lines define the foliage, while the close surface texture catches the light without losing the richness of the dark background. At 583gsm, this is a substantial fabric well suited to upholstery, with a 137cm usable width for covering furniture. The design has a 40cm vertical repeat and 34.5cm horizontal repeat, supplied in a standard 25m length.

How to use it

Use Tropicale Charcoal to bring a moody botanical note to a reading chair, headboard or compact sofa. Balance its cool charcoal and plum depth with warm timber, aged brass and plain mid-grey cushions.

Use this deep charcoal-plum colourway on a statement chair or sofa, pairing it with softened grey, blackened timber and muted plum accents.
