About this fabric

Woven in 77% viscose and 23% linen, this fabric has a dry, slightly slubby surface that suits the softly distressed effect visible across the ground. The large 69 cm horizontal and 60 cm vertical repeat creates elongated striped panels of damask ornament, with the pattern sitting in a muted beige that reads warm and natural rather than glossy. With a usable width of 140 cm and a 20,000 Martindale rub test, it is practical for general domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, making it a versatile choice where a refined decorative look is needed.

How to use it

This sandstone colourway works well with oak, chalky whites and textured neutrals, letting the stripe add pattern without overpowering the room. It is especially effective on upholstered chairs, upholstered headboards or curtains in rooms that need a smart but relaxed finish.

Use with pale woods and quiet neutrals to keep the ornate stripe feeling airy rather than heavy.
