About this fabric
The 518gsm cloth has a dense, softly napped appearance, with the light catching unevenly across the surface to create darker burgundy shadows and brighter claret highlights. It is a plain fabric with no pattern repeat, allowing the depth of the red tone and its tactile texture to take centre stage. With a 140cm usable width and a 25m standard length, it is well suited to substantial upholstery projects. The saturated colour gives seating a dramatic, enveloping finish rather than a bright or playful red accent.
How to use it
Use Allure Claret on a statement armchair, sofa or ottoman where its deep wine-red tone can anchor softer neutrals, dark timber and aged metallic accents. Pair it with warm cream or smoky taupe to temper the richness while keeping the tactile surface prominent.
