About this fabric
This plain Clarke & Clarke fabric has a compact woven texture rather than a visible motif, with delicate horizontal and vertical yarn definition across the surface. Its deep ruby tone is vivid but not glossy, reading as a cool berry-crimson shade with darker variation in the weave. At 370 gsm, it has the substantial visual presence expected of an upholstery cloth. The usable width is 137 cm, the standard length is 40 m, and both pattern repeats are 0 cm.
How to use it
Use Amalfi Ruby on a tailored armchair, footstool or compact sofa where its saturated berry-red tone can act as the room’s focal colour. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass or soft neutral upholstery to temper its intensity.
