Pamplona Rosso

What's New Fabric

Pamplona Rosso shows a richly layered scalloped motif in deep ruby, claret and burgundy, lifted by pale beige accents. The woven surface gives the design a tactile, jewel-like finish with plenty of depth.

About this fabric

Pamplona Rosso from Porter & Stone’s What's New collection is a 100% polyester fabric with a 145cm width and a 33.5cm vertical by 34.5cm horizontal pattern repeat. The design reads as a dense, scaled scallop or feathered floral, with alternating panels in saturated red, wine and muted beige. In this colourway the reds feel warm and vivid rather than bright, while the darker shades add shadow and definition across the cloth. The textured weave catches the light unevenly, which helps the motif feel lively and dimensional. With no performance features noted and a visibly substantial decorative handle, it is especially well suited to upholstery.

How to use it

This colourway works well on an accent chair, headboard or footstool where its red tones can anchor a room. Pair it with aged brass, warm neutrals or dark wood to keep the look luxurious and grounded.

Use on a statement armchair or ottoman to bring rich colour and texture into the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pamplona Rosso without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
