About this fabric

This Shimmer FR fabric by Porter & Stone has a width of 140cm and a repeat of 35.5cm vertical by 12cm horizontal. The composition is 93% polyester and 7% lurex, which explains the subtle sparkle threaded through the surface. In this Rosso colourway, the red reads as deep oxblood and burgundy rather than bright crimson, softened by stone and taupe highlights that catch the light. The overall effect is rich and textural, with a broken, painterly look that feels more layered than shiny. Care code NQT1< should be followed for suitable handling and cleaning.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring warmth and drama to a statement chair, ottoman or a full upholstered headboard. It also works well with dark timber, aged brass and muted neutrals that echo the fabric’s smoky red and metallic undertone.

Pair with walnut, bronzed metal and plain textured neutrals to let the metallic sheen do the work.
