About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is woven in 93% polyester and 7% lurex, with a 140cm width and a repeating geometric layout measuring 35.5cm vertically by 12cm horizontally. The pattern reads as a distressed diamond-and-chevron mosaic, with chalky pale panels set against warmer taupe ground tones. The finish has a lightly brushed, textured look, so the design feels softened and lived-in rather than crisp or glossy. Its restrained metallic thread catches the light subtly, adding depth to the neutral palette without overpowering it.

How to use it

Use this stone taupe colourway on an armchair, bench or Roman blind where you want pattern, but in a calm neutral register. It pairs well with oak, limestone, brushed brass and other soft natural finishes.

A muted metallic neutral that adds texture and polish without feeling shiny.
