About this fabric

Woven in 95% polyester and 5% lurex, this fabric has a compact, upholstery-friendly feel and a subtle metallic sheen rather than an overt shine. The 34cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat suggests a structured decorative pattern, yet the close-up view reads as an all-over crosshatched texture in deep charcoal black. The gold thread catches the light in small scattered points, giving the surface a dry, almost industrial richness. At 140cm wide, it is a practical choice for statement seating where a darker palette is needed without looking flat.

How to use it

Use Zonda FR Elephant on a tailored armchair, ottoman or banquette to bring depth to pale interiors. Its blackened base and restrained gold glimmer work especially well with oak, smoked glass and brass accents.

Pair with warm woods and matte finishes to let the subtle metallic thread shimmer.
