About this fabric

Mystique FR Teal from Porter & Stone’s Shimmer FR collection is a 140cm-wide fabric made from 93% polyester and 7% lurex. The design combines angular diamond forms and vertical facets, giving the swatch a strong graphic character with a medium-scale repeat of 35.5cm vertically and 12cm horizontally. In this colourway the teal reads cool and smoky rather than bright, with black accents and weathered gold flecks that create a slightly aged, metallic depth. It has enough presence for statement soft furnishings, while the woven shimmer keeps the surface lively under changing light.

How to use it

This teal works well on a tailored accent chair, bench or cushions where the geometric pattern can be seen from a little distance. Pair it with walnut, blackened metal or soft stone shades to keep the colour grounded and sophisticated.

Use with warm metallics and dark timber to bring out the lustre in the weave.
