About this fabric

Part of Porter & Stone’s Shimmer FR collection, this fabric is woven in 95% polyester and 5% lurex, with a width of 140cm and a 34cm vertical by 35.5cm horizontal repeat. The swatch shows a dark chocolate-brown base with scattered copper threads that catch the light across the surface, giving it a low-sheen shimmer rather than a bright metallic finish. Its compact, irregular weave reads as sturdy and visually busy, which makes the colour feel depthy and practical. NQT1< care instructions are supplied for this exact cloth.

How to use it

Use this copper-brown colourway on a tailored chair, banquette or occasional sofa where the subtle sparkle can be seen in changing light. It works especially well with oxblood, aged brass and walnut tones for a warm, grounded interior.

Pair with warm timber, tobacco leather and matte brass for a rich, grounded scheme.
