Porter & Stone

Kenya Bronze

Serengeti Fabric

Kenya Bronze has a striking dark ground, lifted by an irregular bronze motif that reads like an animal-skin network across the surface. The contrast is sharp and luxurious, with the metallic warmth of the pattern standing out vividly against the black background.

About this fabric

This Fabric from the Serengeti collection by Porter & Stone is 140cm wide and composed of 61% Polyester and 39% Viscose. The design shows a large-scale, irregular network of bronze outlines over a deep black ground, giving the cloth a strong graphic presence. The bronze yarn catches the light with a subtle sheen, while the black areas stay matte and densely coloured, creating depth and high contrast. With no performance features noted and a pattern repeat of 39.4cm, it is best treated as a statement decorative textile rather than an understated plain.

How to use it

The bronze-on-black palette works במיוחד well on an accent chair, ottoman or occasional headboard where the pattern can take centre stage. Pair it with warm timber, smoked brass and deep neutral wall colours to keep the look rich and tailored.

Use for statement seating or a dramatic accent piece.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
