About this fabric

This plain fabric from the Modena collection is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with a robust 80,000 Martindale rub count. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and can be professionally dry cleaned in situ or washed at 40°C, subject to the pattern book guidance. Visually, Modena Brown sits in a deep chocolate-brown register with warm bronze highlights that break across the surface and keep the colourway from feeling heavy. The textured, mottled appearance gives it more depth than a flat brown, making it especially suited to hard-working upholstery schemes that still need a sense of refinement.

How to use it

Pair this dark brown bronze with smoked oak, saddle leather and muted brass for a grounded contract interior. It also works well against pale stone or warm ivory where the darker, shimmering surface can stand out.
