Modena Blush

Modena Blush is a softly glowing plain in a warm blush pink, with a gently mottled surface that catches the light. The finish feels subtle and refined rather than sugary, giving the colour a calm depth.

About this fabric

Part of the Modena collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with an impressive 80,000 Martindale rub test. The swatch shows a soft blush tone with warm peachy undertones and a lightly brushed, slightly lustrous surface that gives the colour movement across the weave. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request. After care is Professional Dry Clean In situ or Washable @ 40°C, with further guidance in the pattern book. The overall effect is a restrained pink that feels upholstered and practical, rather than delicate or decorative.

How to use it

Use Modena Blush on banquettes, dining chairs or accent seating where its warm pink cast can lift timber, stone and pale neutrals. It also works well in contract interiors that need a softer colour without losing durability.

A warm blush plain that softens seating while staying practical for contract use.

Pairs well with

Modena Blush is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
