About this fabric

This plain from the Modena collection is made from 100% polyester and is specified for contract use, with an 80,000 Martindale rub test for demanding settings. In Ash, the cloth appears as a cool olive-brown blend with flecks of lighter stone tones that lift the surface and stop it feeling flat. The texture looks tightly woven and resilient, with a slightly brushed visual depth that catches the light unevenly across the swatch. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and after care includes professional dry clean in situ or washing at 40°C, subject to the pattern book guidance.

How to use it

Use Ash on banquettes, smart dining chairs or hospitality seating where a subdued, hard-working neutral is needed. Its smoky olive cast pairs well with walnut, black metal and warm taupe accents.
