About this fabric

Part of the Modena collection by J Brown, this fabric is a 100% polyester plain with a contract specification and a hard-wearing 80,000 Martindale result. The swatch reads as a deep anthracite grey with warm olive undertones and a gently clouded texture that softens the overall look. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and after-care includes professional dry clean in situ or washable at 40°C, with further instructions in the pattern book. The finish feels substantial and practical, making the colourway suitable where a darker, tailored neutral is needed.

How to use it

Use Modena Anthracite on a sofa, banquette or headboard when you want a grounded tone that still feels refined. It pairs especially well with pale stone, natural oak and brushed metal, where the subtle olive warmth can come through.
