About this fabric
This colourway from the Modena collection has a rich blueberry tone that sits between cobalt and navy, softened by a lightly mottled texture rather than a flat finish. It is a 100% polyester contract fabric with 80,000 Martindale, making it suitable for demanding seating projects. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it also offers practical after-care options including professional dry clean in situ or washing at 40°C, subject to the pattern book guidance. The dense, even plain structure gives the blue a tailored look, while the subtle surface variation keeps it from feeling severe.
How to use it
Use this blue on statement upholstery, banquettes or contract dining chairs where a smarter, darker tone is needed. It pairs well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal details to bring out the brighter blue notes.
