About this fabric
This Battleship colourway reads as a muted grey-green with earthy brown undertones, giving the plain a calm, worn-in depth rather than a flat solid finish. The visible texture has a lightly striated, dry hand appearance that works well with the design’s plain character. Made in 100% polyester, it is specified for contract use and carries an 80,000 Martindale rating, making it a practical choice for busy schemes. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with professional dry clean in situ or washable at 40°C care guidance.
How to use it
Use it on a clean-lined sofa, banquette or contract chair where the cool, stoney tone can balance timber, black metal or pale oak. It also works well as a subdued backdrop in layered neutral schemes with linen, charcoal and muted olive accents.
