Mimosa Woodland Green

Mimosa Fabric157

Mimosa Woodland Green is a subdued, earthy green with a soft woven surface and a gently mottled appearance. The colour sits between olive and moss, giving it a natural, woodland depth rather than a bright leafy note.

About this fabric

Part of the Mimosa collection by J Brown, this plain is woven from 100% polyester and specified for Heavy Domestic use with a 40,000 Martindale rating. The swatch shows a muted woodland green with darker olive and brown undertones, so the surface reads grounded and slightly weathered rather than fresh or vivid. Its texture has a dry, fabric-forward look that catches the light in soft bands, which helps the shade feel layered and dimensional. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and other treatments are available upon request. Professional dry clean in situ is recommended, with further care guidance in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this woodland green on an armchair, banquette or full sofa when you want colour that feels calm but not flat. It pairs well with oak, aged brass and warm neutrals, where the olive depth can balance softer, lighter finishes.

A grounded green that adds depth and texture to tailored upholstery.

Pairs well with

Mimosa Woodland Green is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
