About this fabric

This plain from J Brown’s Modena collection is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with a durable 80,000 Martindale rating. The swatch shows a muted olive-moss shade with warmer golden undertones that soften the overall green and stop it reading too cool. Its lightly flecked, textured finish creates subtle movement across the surface, making the colour feel richer in person than in a flat image. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and after care includes professional dry clean in situ or washable at 40°C, subject to the pattern book instructions.

How to use it

Modena Moss works well on upholstery where a grounded green is needed without high contrast, especially on sculpted chairs, banquettes, and accent stools. Pair it with oak, aged brass, and warm neutrals to play up the earthy olive tone.
