About this fabric

This plains fabric from the Modena collection is made from 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with an 80,000 Martindale rating for demanding interiors. In the swatch, Modena Oyster shows a pale oyster base threaded with faint cream and beige movement, giving it a calm, lightly lustrous appearance. The surface has a fine textured grain that catches the light softly, so the colour feels brighter at the top and slightly warmer toward the lower edge. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and professional dry clean in situ or washing at 40°C is noted in the care instructions.

How to use it

Use Modena Oyster to soften upholstered banquettes, headboards or statement chairs where you want a clean backdrop without stark white. Its warm, pearly tone sits well with oak, stone and muted greens, and it can also be used for refined curtains where a brighter neutral is wanted.

A soft oyster neutral that keeps a room bright while adding a quietly elegant texture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
