About this fabric

This plain from the Modena collection is woven in 100% polyester and designed for contract use, with an impressive 80,000 Martindale rating. The swatch shows a warm mushroom beige base lifted by lighter oat and darker taupe marbling, giving the cloth a subtle depth rather than a flat solid tone. Its surface has a fine, lightly textured appearance that catches the light unevenly, which helps the colour feel tactile and lived-in. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and can be professionally dry cleaned in situ or washed at 40°C, subject to the pattern book guidance.

How to use it

Use this muted mushroom shade on banquettes, headboards, or dining chairs where a calm neutral is needed without looking stark. It sits especially well with timber, tan leather, chalk white, and soft olive accents.

A warm, softly variegated neutral that works beautifully on contract seating and layered interiors.
