About this fabric
This plain fabric from the Modena collection is woven in 100% polyester and is specified for contract use, with an impressive 80,000 Martindale rub test for demanding settings. In the swatch, Modena Mist shows a misted beige ground with greyer clouding and warmer sandy undertones, giving it a softly aged, tactile appearance. The surface catches the light in an uneven, mellow way, so the colour feels layered rather than uniform. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and professional dry clean in situ or washing at 40°C is available, subject to the pattern book care guidance.
How to use it
Use this colourway where you want a restrained neutral that still has enough texture to sit comfortably on upholstery, particularly in relaxed, smart contract interiors. It works especially well with pale timber, stone, putty and muted olive accents.
A muted neutral that lifts easily in contract schemes and pairs well with oak, stone and charcoal accents.
