About this fabric

This colourway combines a moss-green base with lighter sage and olive passages, creating a cool, subdued surface with quiet depth rather than high contrast. Irregular angular motifs interlock across the cloth, while the visible linear brushing softens their edges and prevents the pattern from feeling rigid. At 372gsm and 112 threads per cm, it has a substantial woven specification suited to upholstery planning. The 137cm usable width is paired with a stated pattern repeat of 23.5cm vertically by 27.4cm horizontally, keeping the motif present at a medium scale.

How to use it

Use Cartography Moss on a structured armchair, ottoman or sofa where its greyed olive tone can sit comfortably with warm timber, stone and softly chalky neutrals. The pale sage facets also offer a restrained pattern layer for a room that needs interest without strong colour contrast.

Use the muted moss-green geometry to bring measured pattern and soft tonal depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cartography Moss without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
