About this fabric

The colourway combines a light natural ground with layered honey, ochre and straw-gold lines, giving the surface a sun-warmed depth rather than a bright metallic finish. Repeating angular forms interlock across the cloth, while the visible fine texture softens their geometric edges. With a 137cm usable width and a 372gsm weight, it has the substance expected of an upholstery textile. The pattern measures 23.5cm vertically by 27.4cm horizontally, creating a medium-scale repeat that remains noticeable without dominating the furniture.

How to use it

Pair this warm honey-gold colourway with chalky neutrals, pale timber and natural linen for an easy, sunlit scheme. It is especially effective on a statement armchair or upholstered bench, where the stepped pattern can be appreciated at close range.

Use the warm honey-gold ground to bring inviting colour and tactile movement to occasional chairs, headboards or cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cartography Tourmaline without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
