Lovelace Honey/Paper Lantern

Harlequin X Diane Hill Fabrics FabricHAF0469-03

Lovelace Honey/Paper Lantern combines a bright honey-gold lattice with a warm paper-lantern ground. Its tightly interlaced lines create a fine, energetic geometric surface with plenty of light showing between them.

About this fabric

This 286 gsm textile has a dense woven appearance, with slim golden lines crossing horizontally, vertically and diagonally to form a busy open lattice. The warm honey tone is lively rather than brassy, while the paper-lantern ground keeps the overall colourway light and softly balanced. With a 23 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the geometry has enough scale to register clearly without becoming oversized. The 138.6 cm usable width and 39.3 threads per cm make this a versatile mid-weight option for upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use the honey-gold lattice to bring warmth and pattern to a pale, relaxed room, particularly on an occasional chair, bench or Roman blind. Pair it with cream, natural timber and muted ochre accents to echo the paper-lantern ground without competing with the fine geometry.

A warm honey-gold lattice on a soft paper-lantern ground, suited to upholstery and coordinated window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lovelace Honey/Paper Lantern without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
