Marzac Miel
Malou Fabric04885-03
Marzac Miel has a warm honey-gold presence with a softly striated, almost brick-like woven surface that catches the light in subtle bands. The colour feels sunlit and grounded rather than bright, giving the pattern a refined warmth.

About this fabric
This Manuel Canovas fabric from the Malou collection is a textile with a distinctive small-scale woven texture and an approx. 20cm vertical repeat, showing a rhythmic, layered pattern across the surface. The 144cm width makes it practical for a range of furnishing projects, while the composition of 60% viscose, 25% cotton, 8% linen and 7% polyester gives the cloth a balanced, tactile finish. In Marzac Miel, the palette sits in a mellow golden-beige range with honey and biscuit notes, and the raised weave creates gentle tonal shifts as the light moves over it. It is smart rather than flashy, with enough depth to add interest without overpowering a room.
How to use it
Use Marzac Miel on an armchair, banquette or relaxed curtains where its warm gold tone can soften dark timber and stone. It works especially well with moss, oat and tobacco accents, letting the weave provide quiet texture rather than strong contrast.
Pair with walnut, chalky neutrals or deep olive for a polished, layered scheme.

Pairs well with
Marzac Miel is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
