About this fabric

The colour sits between golden yellow and ochre, with a muted warmth rather than a bright, saturated sheen. A fine cloudy variation is visible across the surface, creating softly changing areas of light and shade while retaining a clean plain effect. At 300 gsm and 144 cm usable width, it has a versatile mid-weight profile for upholstery or drapery. The 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make it straightforward to cut and position, while the standard length is 35 m.

How to use it

Use Alvar Gold to warm a neutral room on a tailored chair, sofa or headboard, or let it bring a sunlit ochre note to full-length curtains. Pair its softly varied surface with chalky creams, warm woods and muted olive accents.
