About this fabric

The dense all-over pattern combines stylised open flowers, leafy stems and small berry-like clusters, with cream motifs standing clearly against the ochre ground. Its medium-scale repeat gives the surface a lively rhythm, while the closely worked detail keeps the colourway feeling full rather than flat. At 402 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this is a substantial textile well suited to upholstery. The 63.5 cm vertical repeat and 34 cm horizontal repeat should be allowed for when matching the floral layout across cushions or larger upholstered panels.

How to use it

Use Bramble Sunflower on a reading chair, bench or dining seat to bring warm golden colour into a room with natural wood, aged brass and chalky neutrals. Balance its busy floral field with plain upholstery or curtains in soft cream, muted sage or warm stone.

Use this warm ochre floral for upholstered chairs, footstools and occasional seating where its dense pattern can add depth.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bramble Sunflower without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
