About this fabric

This substantial 532gsm fabric is well suited to upholstery, with a dense visual presence that supports the large-scale botanical design. The 138cm usable width gives the scrolling foliage room to read across furniture, while the 85cm vertical and 66cm horizontal repeats establish a strong, continuous rhythm. At 85 threads per cm, the surface has a closely detailed appearance, with the muted mineral leaves standing gently forward against the cooler indigo ground. Small rounded floral forms and overlapping acanthus leaves add intricacy without breaking the colourway’s restrained, smoky character.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo and mineral colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or traditional sofa, where its large repeat can be appreciated. Balance the shaded blue-grey ground with warm timber, aged brass and quiet stone neutrals.

A substantial, cool-toned botanical textile for statement upholstery and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
