Taplow Ochre

Boscombe FabricJ0136-03

Taplow Ochre shows a tight geometric weave in a warm, grounded gold-ochre palette. The surface reads crisp and tailored, with the pattern forming a fine all-over texture rather than a bold statement motif.

About this fabric

This Boscombe fabric by Jane Churchill is woven as a compact geometric design with a repeat of approximately V 3cm / H 2cm and a width of approximately 138cm. Its blend of 27% Polyester, 25% Cotton, 22% Viscose, 17% Linen, 6% Wool and 3% Polyamide gives the cloth a stable, textured handle that suits both upholstery and drapery use. In this Taplow Ochre colourway, the pattern sits in warm ochre and tan notes with a lightly heathered look, so the design feels rich without becoming heavy. The small scale keeps the surface neat and versatile, while the gold-brown tone adds warmth and depth in the light.

How to use it

Use Taplow Ochre to bring warmth to a tailored armchair, banquette or Roman blind, where the small repeat can be appreciated up close. It pairs especially well with oak, worn brass and soft neutrals for a smart but welcoming scheme.

A compact ochre weave that brings warm, tailored texture to seating or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Taplow Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
