Taplow Red/Orange
Boscombe FabricJ0136-02
Taplow Red/Orange has a finely textured, small-scale weave that reads as warm terracotta from a distance and more softly speckled close up. The tiny repeat gives the surface a steady, tailored rhythm.

About this fabric
This Boscombe fabric by Jane Churchill is a versatile textile with a 138cm approximate width and a small repeat of V 3cm / H 2cm approx. Its mixed composition of 27% Polyester, 25% Cotton, 22% Viscose, 17% Linen, 6% Wool and 3% Polyamide suggests a balanced cloth with both structure and a touch of softness. In this colourway, the red/orange ground is muted rather than bright, with a beige-warm cast that keeps the overall effect earthy and easy to live with. The closely worked weave adds a gently granular texture, so the colour feels broken up and refined rather than flat. Fire code K and care code Q 8 < T 3 are supplied for reference.
How to use it
Use Taplow Red/Orange to bring warmth to a neutral scheme, especially with oak, tan leather or chalky paint colours. Its softened terracotta tone also pairs neatly with olive, rust and deep brown accents.
A warm, compact weave that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or as a calm, textured curtain.

Pairs well with
Taplow Red/Orange is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
