Albus Terracotta

Gloriana FabricJ0272-02

Albus Terracotta shows a crisp hexagonal lattice in warm terracotta, set against a pale ground that keeps the design feeling open and airy. The repeating geometric outline reads clean and tailored, with just enough colour to give the pattern presence.

About this fabric

From the Gloriana collection by Jane Churchill, this fabric is supplied at approximately 136cm wide with a vertical repeat of 24cm and horizontal repeat of 11cm. The composition of 60% Polyester, 20% Viscose, 13% Linen and 7% Cotton gives the cloth a practical blended handle, while the visible surface appears smooth with a refined woven finish. In this colourway, the terracotta lines are softened by peachy and gold-tinged accents, so the pattern feels warmer than a pure orange and less rustic than a deep clay. The pale background lightens the overall effect, making the geometry read fresh rather than heavy. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z noted, it is a versatile decorative fabric for considered interiors.

How to use it

Use Albus Terracotta where you want a warm geometric accent without darkening the room: it sits well on cushions, occasional upholstery or softly tailored curtains. Pair the terracotta outline with oak, plaster pinks, chalky neutrals or aged brass to echo its sun-baked warmth.

A warm terracotta lattice with a light ground for tailored rooms and relaxed schemes alike.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Albus Terracotta without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
