Baywood Green

Gloriana FabricJ0283-02

Baywood Green shows the Gloriana design as a fresh, leafy woodland pattern on a clean pale ground. The palette mixes soft sage, olive and teal so the motif feels lively but still restrained.

About this fabric

This colourway of Gloriana by Jane Churchill is a 128cm-wide fabric with a repeat of V 62cm / H 64cm approx, and its linen-cotton-viscose blend gives the surface a crisp but gently softened handle. The pattern is built from stylised tree forms, with rounded canopies in sage, olive, teal and pale leaf green set against an off-white ground. Because the greens are cool-leaning rather than muddy, the design reads airy and botanical rather than heavy. The overall effect is decorative but not loud, with enough movement in the motif to carry a room without overwhelming it. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Baywood Green works well in rooms that need pattern with a light touch, especially against white-painted joinery, natural oak and brushed brass. It would make a fresh curtain or relaxed upholstered accent where the soft green tones can sit comfortably with cream and stone.

Use with pale woods and quiet neutrals to let the fresh green pattern stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
