About this fabric

Emile Emerald from the Emile II collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric, with a width of approximately 140cm and a composition of 50% cotton and 50% polyester. This colourway reads as a saturated moss green, darker in the folds and slightly lighter where the pile or weave catches the light. The surface appears smooth and understated, with the plain appearance putting the emphasis on the depth of the shade rather than decoration. With no repeat at approximately V 0cm / H 0cm, it presents as a clean, uninterrupted field of colour that feels tailored and composed.

How to use it

Its deep green tone works well on a statement chair or bench where the colour can sit against warm wood, aged brass or leather. Pair it with oatmeal, tobacco or charcoal accents to keep the room feeling elegant rather than overly formal.

Use with walnut, brass or tan leather for a rich, grounded scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
