Pelham Green

Pelham FabricF4857-04

Pelham Green shows a finely scaled botanical print in a deep moss green on a warm neutral ground. The repeating leaf trail feels neat and close-set, giving the colourway a crisp, traditional character.

About this fabric

Woven in 68% cotton and 32% linen, this fabric has the grounded handle of a natural fibre blend and a width of approximately 140cm. The repeat is approximately V 12cm and H 17cm, which suits the compact, all-over rhythm visible in the swatch. In Pelham Green, the motif reads as a dark, earthy green with a slightly muted finish, so it feels calmer and richer than a brighter leaf shade. The small-scale pattern stays decorative without becoming busy, making the cloth suitable for either furnishing or softer window treatments.

How to use it

Use Pelham Green with oak, aged brass and oatmeal fabrics to bring out its mossy depth. It works especially well in rooms that want pattern, but in a restrained, heritage register.

Pair with warm neutrals and dark wood for a tailored, classic look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
