About this fabric

This Allan fabric by Larsen is a plain-woven cloth with a subtle vertical and horizontal grain, giving Peak Cedar a grounded, natural finish. The 56% virgin wool and 36% linen content show in the dry, slightly mottled surface, while the 8% polyamide helps the cloth hold together for everyday use. At approximately 140cm wide, it is a versatile textile for both upholstery and drapery, and the lack of pattern repeat makes it especially easy to work with. The colour sits between forest and cedar green, with a muted depth that feels richer in shadow and a little softer where the light lifts the weave.

How to use it

Use this deep green beside oak, walnut or brushed brass for a smart, restrained scheme. It also works well as a quiet curtain or armchair covering in rooms that need colour without brightness.

A quietly tailored green that works beautifully on upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
