Zander Velvets VelvetJ0299-06

Helia Stripe Emerald is a finely striped velvet with a cool emerald-green read softened by paler sage and cream tones. The narrow vertical lines give the swatch a tailored, quietly elegant look.

About this fabric

This Zander Velvets design is a velvet with a subtle lustre, and the narrow vertical stripe repeats at approximately 1cm across a width of approximately 144cm. Its 42% viscose, 33% cotton and 25% polyester composition gives the surface a plush but controlled finish, with the darker green stripes sitting neatly against a lighter, softly chalked ground. In this colourway, the emerald notes feel fresh rather than jewel-like, so the overall effect is crisp, airy and more restrained than a deep forest velvet. The fine stripe keeps the pattern sharp and refined, making it easy to read in the cloth without overpowering nearby textures.

How to use it

Pair it with pale oak, brushed brass and linen in warm neutrals to let the green stripes stay crisp and graphic. It would work especially well on an accent chair, banquette or headboard where the narrow stripe can bring order and a fresh lift.

Use for tailored seating or a crisp accent chair where the fine stripe can add depth without overwhelming the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Helia Stripe Emerald without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
